NZDF FlexiSaver Scheme, a section within Mercer FlexiSaver (Scheme).
Upon reviewing our records, we have noticed that you have not made any contributions
to your FlexiSaver account since joining the Scheme. Your account currently shows a
balance of $0. Also, we do not have Nature and Purpose details recorded for you, which
are required in order for Mercer to comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
To ensure the accuracy and security of our records, we have initiated a process to close
accounts that have not received contributions and do not have Nature and Purpose details
provided. We understand that a number of circumstances may have prevented you from
contributing or updating your account information. Therefore, we would like to offer you an
additional opportunity to take action. |

Defence Force FlexiSaver as the organisation you wish to pay and follow your
bank’s instructions. |

If you are a member of the New Zealand Defence Force you can also contribute fortnightly
from your pay. Please complete the MD221 form, available from the HR Toolkit and return
it to the HRSC Payroll Section. If you have difficulty locating this form, contact the NZDF
HRSC or the Benefits team by email at benefits@nzdf.mil.nz.

the www.nzdfsavings.mil.nz website or the Force Financial Hub.
Please note that failure to contribute and provide your Nature and Purpose details within
the specified timeframe will result in the closure of your FlexiSaver account on 15 May
2024. We strongly encourage you to take action to avoid any inconvenience.
If you want to close your FlexiSaver account, you don’t need to take any action. It will be
automatically closed on 15 May 2024.
