Annual report |
 |
The annual report to members will be sent out towards
the end of June. A copy will also be sent to employers
for their information, once it becomes available. Each
individual member will receive a personalised report that
includes their Scheme details, balances and retirement
projections. These projections are based on standard
assumptions and are intended to provide members with
a better understanding of what their retirement might
look like. The report aims to encourage members to
consider their desired goals and outcomes. |

Goal setting made easy with sorted.org.nz |
 |
Goal setting is a powerful practice that can help members achieve their desired
outcomes and lead a more fulfilling life. It involves planning for the future and
identifying specific objectives that they want to accomplish. By setting clear and
meaningful goals, members can increase their motivation, focus, and
self‑confidence. |
To support members with financial goal setting, sorted.org.nz offers a range of
helpful tools and resources. These include budgeting tools to manage finances
effectively, goal planning resources to map out their aspirations, various calculators
to assist with financial planning, and even a risk quiz to understand each member’s
investor profile. |
By utilising these tools, members can gain valuable insights and guidance to make
informed decisions. Whether that is to save for a dream vacation, pay off debt, or
plan for retirement, sorted.org.nz provides the necessary resources to help members
stay on track and make progress towards their goals. |

Investment updates to members |
 |
Did you know that the Scheme’s members can read investment and market updates
online in newsletters and annual reports? |

Term of the month |
|
Dovish: A dovish monetary policy means policymakers
(like the US Federal Reserve) favour measures to
stimulate economic growth, like lowering interest rates or
implementing accommodative policies. |

Investment performance |
The table below shows how the Scheme’s investment options have performed over
the year ending 31 March 2024 and since investment choice was made available to
members in 2003. Returns are determined monthly and take into account the effect
of compound interest. |

The latest credited interest rates are also published on the website. |

Don’t get hooked: Watch out
for common online scams |
Do you know the difference between spear phishing,
whaling, smishing, pharming? |
Phishing is a common method used to steal someone’s
identity. Scammers pretend to be from reputable
organisations and contact individuals through phone
calls, emails or text messages. They aim to trick people
into providing their usernames, passwords, financial
account information or credit card details. Phishing
emails often include links to fake websites that resemble
legitimate organisations, as well as attachments or links
infected with viruses or malware. Phone scammers may
also request login details under the guise of addressing
urgent issues with financial accounts. |
It is important to be cautious and avoid falling victim to
these scams. To learn more about keeping yourself safe
online, visit the links via the buttons below. |
