| Now that summer is officially here and the holidays are a few days away, you are probably like me and wondering where has this year gone?

| My message won't take much of your time as I’m sure you’re busy preparing for the festive season. But I would like to share with you a few highlights from the year that’s been.

- We celebrated Mercer’s 60th Birthday and 10 years of KiwiSaver.
- The Mercer KiwiSaver scheme was awarded a Platinum rating by research group SuperRatings for delivering value for money for the fourth year in a row. Platinum is
the highest rating available under the SuperRatings criteria.
- Independent research by Interest.co.nz found the Mercer KiwiSaver scheme default fund delivered the highest returns of any default fund since KiwiSaver launched.
- 80 of our clients and customers joined us in officially launching Mercer FlexiSaver, our latest investment offering.
- We launched the Personal Investment Product for our Mercer SuperTrust customers.
- We made changes to our responsible investment policy and you can watch an interview with Alexis Cheang, a senior consultant within Mercer’s Responsible
Investment Team discussing global and local trends, as well as what Mercer does in this space.
